Overview
A fantastic opportunity to join an Industry leader in the FMCG sector who have recently expanded to a second site and who through pure growth now need an experienced Production Planner to join their team. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for the following: Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure all deliveries are on time and in full Ensure ERP and all supporting systems (excel) are kept up to date, with accurate timely data Development and release of Capacity Planning via excel and assist in transition to operating within MRP outputs of X3 Recording of and understanding of data in preparation for various business reports Represent function in sales and operational planning meetings Monitoring stock holding levels of raw material to ensure that there is no build-up of obsolete products or unjustified inventory Point of contact co-coordinating the build of products to the required standards and timescales, ensuring that adequate stock is held to maximise customer service levels and Inventory turns Skills and Experience: Proven track record in a Planning environment. Does not have to be FMCG related Microsoft Office, Excel and ideally experience of SAGE X3 Analytical mind and able to aid the transition from excel to ERP Experience of working with clear Planning targets Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8-4 Pension Holidays
