Overview
An experienced or aspiring sewing machinist is required for a position based in Heathfield, Newton Abbot. Based in a modern facility within a supportive and close-knit team. Main Duties: Working with industrial sewing machines, candidates will be required to produce a variety of seating and accessory products in a safe, efficient and quality focused manner. The efficient manufacture of seating products and accessories in line with company quality standards, following Standard Operating Procedures to meet customer dead-lines. Desirable Skills / Aptitudes: · Previous experience working with industrial sewing machines (preferred, but not essential as full training can be given) · Flexible with a positive ‘can do’ attitude · A keen eye for detail · Ability to work and interact effectively with colleagues · Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is highlydesirable Terms of Employment: · Hours - Monday to Thursday 0730-1630 & Friday 0800-1315 · 26 days holiday per year (plus 8 days bank holidays) · Company pension scheme · Life Insurance If you are an experienced Sewing Machinist and are currently looking for a new challenge then please submit an up to date CV by using the ‘apply’ button below.
