Overview
My client, a leading Construction firm is looking for a Management Accountant to join their expanding team. The company has recently acquired a new business that will increase the revenue for the group function. As a Management Accountant you will be responsible for delivering for a high portfolio reporting directly into the Group Financial Controller. Other duties will consist of. Complete monthly P&L and Balance Sheet Management Accounts, prepare commentary against budgets and forecasts Support completion of quarterly financial accounts Deliver weekly reporting and analysis of the portfolio’s performance to the senior term and the Board Manage monthly invoice and direct debit bill runs to make sure that all customers are billed and pay in advance of each month Support FP&A analyst in monthly forecasting and in annual budget preparation - with opportunity for this aspect of the role to grow over time Prepare VAT returns Month end reconciliation of intercompany balances Assist management in improving the profitability of their businesses, challenging where required and constantly monitoring costs Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong ability to deliver to deadlines, worked within a group function and have the ability to report to Board Members. Candidates will be Finance Graduates that are ACA Qualified. ding team.
