Overview
Your new firm Our leading regional law firm client are looking to hire a Risk and Compliance solicitor to help support their highly regarded team in their Bristol office. Your new role Within this non-fee earning role, you will be reporting directly to the Head of Risk and Compliance. You will be a key decision maker in internal complaints and claims regarding next steps. This includes preparing advice to the firm, strategies for responding and drafting responses. You will ensure you're up to date on new developments of regulations and processes to identify improvements. You will address partners and lawyers directly with issues raised and external solicitors. There will be an element of travel in this role to our client's regional firms, typically twice a month. What you'll need to succeed You will be a qualified lawyer with experience in civil litigation, having managed your own caseload with limited supervision. Professional negligence experience would be an advantage, yet not essential. You will be a confident lawyer, with the ability to identify and prioritise tasks.
