Software Engineer, C++, Python I’m looking for a Software Engineer who is looking to work with C++ and Python to join an exciting Scientific R&D company in Oxford This Software Engineer role will be well suited to a Junior or Mid-Level candidate, looking for a supportive environment where they will work on interesting and varied projects The Role The Software Engineer will be joining a small team who work on a variety of projects for external and internal customers. You will be developing instrument software for my client’s lab-on-chip device, working with a mixture of C++ and Python. For this Software Engineer position we’re looking for a candidate keen to learn and progress their career. Whether you’ve just graduated in a relevant field, or have already amassed several years in commercial software development, we’re considering a range of applicants. You will need: Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Maths or similar (or equivalent commercial experience) C++11 or higher experience Linux Git It would also be beneficial if you had: Python Embedded/ firmware development CMake Medical device experience Real-time software systems What Next?
