Overview
Civil Engineer - Drainage and Highways London Salary TBC Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a national consultancy with the hire of a skilled Civil Engineer. The company projects cover many different construction sectors throughout the UK, including retail, commercial, mixed-use and residential schemes. Main duties of the role: Undertake engineering analysis and prepare calculations for civils, drainage and highway engineering projects Be proficient in design software including Microdainage, PDS and Civils 3D Providing technical support to include report writing and presentations Attending design meetings, site meetings and carry out site inspections Maintain all necessary records Mentor and train more junior members of staff The Civil engineer will require: HNC, BEng, BSc, MEng or MSC in Civil Engineering Minimum of 2 years of relevant design experience Flexible approach to work and ability to work as part of a team Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure Ability to prepare drawings using AutoCAD/Drainage/Highway or related field On offer with this role is a very attractive salary along with a full range of benefits.
