SENIOR FRAUD DATA SCIENTIST UP TO £90,000 BENEFITS CENTRAL LONDON Do you want to work in the fraud department for one of the largest streaming platforms globally? Do you have experience in fraud detection? This is the perfect opportunity for a Senior Data Scientist with fraud experience. THE COMPANY: As a Senior Data Scientist, you will work within the payments and fraud team to focus on solving the company's major problems regarding payment fraud. This well-known company has over 100 million paying customers so you will be working with large volumes of data from multiple different sources. THE ROLE: The role of Senior Data Scientist will work alongside the research and development team to find solutions to issues regarding payment fraud. Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following: You will be involved in the day to day use and application of Python, Tableau, Hadoop, Spark, SQL, etc You will be building and developing advanced machine learning models to optimize fraud strategy You will be implementing machine learning models that can reduce fraud from over 20 different payment methods YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: The successful Senior Data Scientist will have the following skills and experience: Proven experience working with fraud/ integrity/ trust and safety within a large company Educated to Master's level (PhD preferred) in a STEM degree focused in quantitative methods and statistics (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics etc) Proficiency in programming languages and statistical analysis tools - fluency in Python, Tableau, Hadoop, Spark, SQL Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience working in a data-driven team Genuine interest in the product and values that align with the company's mission THE BENEFITS: The successful Senior Data Scientist will receive a salary, dependent on experience of up to £90,000.
