Overview

Our client is looking for a Compliance Manager to join their team. You will work with the business to ensure that the insurance claims division, suppliers and those under its management comply with all legislative and regulatory requirements and industry best practise. You will also responsible for key stakeholders’ management, act as a Subject Matter Expert and maintain an up to date understanding of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), financial crime and support the firm regarding its ongoing compliance in these areas. Responsibilities Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders within the business to facilitate open and transparent communications; Actively and positively promote the internal compliance culture and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) throughout the business; Attend and contribute to relevant projects (including integrations), committees, working groups and Board meetings providing the required independent challenge and pragmatic advice, whilst keeping a keen eye on commerciality; Drive the communication of changes in regulatory requirements and expectations across the claims business; Implement proficient communication strategies across claims and core business departments to provide day-to-day support to ensure compliance with Group Standards; Ensure the business interacts with its clients and regulatory bodies in an open and transparent manner; Utilise Management Information (MI) to highlight risks, identify trends, make projections and provide analytical reporting of compliance risks; Provide compliance analysis and commentary for inclusion within relevant Board reporting; Represent compliance during the client audit process including on-site attendance, the provision of relevant information and the ownership of any compliance related actions; Support the claims division by providing compliance input into any required remedial activity; Ensure that all company licenses are accurate and up to date and polices continue to remain in force; Ensure compliance records are updated and maintained. About You Minimum 4 years of relevant experience within a managerial compliance position in an FCA regulated environment; A combination of higher education and industry and/or role specific qualifications; CII Diploma in Insurance (preferred); Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the tenacity to deliver in a fast-paced and challenging environment; Advanced knowledge of the insurance industry, UK regulatory environment and key developments; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; including the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical users; at all levels within the business; Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
