Overview
Are you qualified in RCC L3 Childcare or L2 adult health and social care? Also would consider applications with no experience but who are available immediately. We are currently recruiting for a number of Care & Support Workers for an Adult Home and Children’s Home. You do not need any experience but you do need to be dedicated, caring and passionate about people. The successful candidates will be supporting our client residents to live their lives as self-sufficiently as possible. Job Duties: Personal care Day / Evening social, learning, leisure and sporting activities Emotional; wellbeing and Physical Well being Emotional, Spiritual / Cultural needs Administration Tasks Health, Safety and Risk Management Moving and positioning of residents (including hoists and wheelchairs) Assist residents with all aspects of personal care Work with people whose behaviour, due to the nature of their disability, can challenge the service at times. Support and accompany residents with leisure activities including swimming To assist and or carry out the preparation, cooking and ensure the safe storage of food, meeting the nutritional needs of service users.
