Overview
Tempting Recruitment are working on behalf of our client in Central London to recruit a Business Support Officer. Working Pattern: FULL TIME Contract: TEMPORARY Rate: £14.50 PER HOUR Start Date: ASAP JOB OVERVIEW This role is situated a local authority business support team with responsibilities to coordinate the work of local partner agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and ensure the effectiveness of that work. JOB DETAILS Taking minutes of meetings is ESSENTIAL Maintain confidential filing systems and records both paper and electronic Screen and prioritise incoming post, undertaking action, where appropriate and seeking guidance where required Arrange meetings including booking venues, organising hospitality, circulating agendas and information packs Receive incoming telephone calls and provide information, take appropriate messages and undertake actions when necessary Record information into databases and maintain effective systems and processes to enable the efficient retrieval of information JOB REQUIREMENTS Educated to GCSE level or NVQ level 2 in a relevant area or equivalent by qualification or experience Demonstrable working knowledge and competence in a range of information technology applications, including word processing and spreadsheets Ability to demonstrate numeracy and literacy skills Ability to use databases to store and retrieve information Experience of maintaining electronic and paper filing systems Experience of dealing with queries in written form and on the telephone Experience of providing administrative support within an office environment Experience of dealing with distressing information Experience in working with confidential and sensitive information and ability to demonstrate an understanding of the principals of data protection/information security that should be used in such circumstances Strong administration skills required If you are interested in this position, know anyone who would be interested in this position or would like to know more about this position or any other positions we are recruiting for, please contact Andre at Tempting Recruitment now
