Overview

Civil QA / QC Inspector Responsibilities Work independently using own initiative, or as part of a team Overseeing Civil QA/QC on multi disciple contractors. Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site. Ability to read engineering drawing Civil – Rebar. Approval of ITPs and Monitor Intervention points associated with Inspection and Test plans (ITPs) Check conformity with the Quality Control Plans, review the relevant documentation on an ongoing process, check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls and inspections, manage documents certifying tests, controls and inspections. Review and acceptance of QC MRBs Able to carry out QC Audits Resolve any construction queries with the design team. Carry out concrete pre-pour checks. Witness and clear hold and notification points. Validation of build/check/sheets by civil construction team. Attendance at weekly coordination meetings. Report weekly site QA/QC on progress. None Conformance Report / Observations Management Ensuring Temporary Works checks are being carried out. Physical site checks. Checking and signing off of As-Builds drawings. Production of Snagging/Defect lists and signing off all snagging / punch list. Requirements · Minimum of 15 years’ experience in a comparable role. · Previous experience Quality Control / Engineering in multi discipline Project. · Experience of working on major Civil works within the Mining would be an advantage, oil and gas industry, Heavy engineering. · Structural experience in CE Marking advantage. · Formal engineering training and technical qualification
