Section Manager (ICQA)
Overview
Shift Pattern Mon to Thur 11:15 to 20:00, Fri 11:15 to 19:00 As we embark on an exciting period of change throughout our business, we need a new Section Manager (ICQA) to join our Logistics function. You will constantly be reviewing the space in the DC and how we can best utilize this when storing inventory, ensuring replenishments are complete and the right stock is in the right place at the right time. You will enjoy being responsible for providing the customer-facing data and providing ideas on how we can improve accuracy, productivity and reduce costs. Responsible for inventory worth over £30million you will thrive under pressure. Key responsibilities: • Oversee the quality of the customer experience and verify compliance to processes. • Monitor Quality and Inventory transaction integrity accuracy • Review customer defect information • Develop and execute daily, weekly and monthly actions that improve customer experience and inventory accuracy. • Lead the team in optimising processes and systems • Adapt standard Global SOPs to reflect local facility requirements. • Leading annual inventory audits. • Identify and implement improvements in DC Inbound processes and vendor compliance. • Optimise the investment in DC improvements by leading the development, standardisation and practice of standardised workflows. • Lead and develop system and process change to accomplish Cromwell’s strategic goals. Ideal Person: • Ability to lead the ICQA teams • Experience of building relationship to align to specific goals • Ability to analyse and solve problems related to distribution, quality, cycle time and key metrics • Must be able to work variable hours/schedule across all shifts • Proven experience in a warehouse environment and managed 150K plus SKU preferred. • Demonstrated expertise in ICQA concepts and application of all major ICQA tools and methods (i.e. six sigma, lean, visual management, 5s, etc.) to service operations • Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills are required • Demonstrated competence in the Microsoft Office, SAP and warehouse management systems About us We are Cromwell – a subsidiary of US Fortune 500 company, W.W.
