Product Inspector Rotherham Up to £25k Are you an experienced Product Inspector looking for a new role? Do you have at least 5 years Precision Engineering (Turning/Lathe) operator experience? Do you have practical experience using inspection tooling? If so, I would love to hear from you… I am recruiting for an experienced Product Inspector, to join my well established client who are within the Precision Engineering industry. We are looking for a candidate for the following position: Product Inspector – CNC Machined Components Experience: At least 5 years Precision Engineering (Turning / Lathe) operator Manufacturing & measuring external & internal threads. Practical experience using inspection tooling. Inspector would be expected to: Advise engineers during first Article Inspection duties & patrol on meeting tolerances. Use computer database for the maintenance of Calibration records. Raise Purchase Orders for Calibration Complete Visual & dimensional Inspection Reports Perform Internal Heat Treatment operations Improve the workmanship of some parts prior to inspection. Report directly to the Quality Manager Candidates shall be asked to measure and inspect a product to drawing upon interview. Please bare this in mind prior to attending an interview. The shifts are: Monday - Thursday, working 08:30am – 17:00pm with a 30 minute lunch and Friday 8:30am – 13:00pm.
