Job description: London based Fund seek a Level 1 Production Support Analyst supporting Equities Trading Desk and multiple applications. SQL a basic understand of SQL database and ability to write use basic SQL commands like SELECT, UPDATE, INSERT, DELETE and Operators like WHERE, ORDER BY, etc. Experience with Windows based environment: Windows7 & 10, Windows Server 2008 and above, Office 2016 1st level application support for business systems with escalation to 2nd level Application Support team members. Application Support experience of trading, portfolio management, risk, settlements, and reconciliation applications. ?Some business knowledge of financial markets and instruments, with broad asset class – Equities, Derivatives, Options, Credits etc., through previous experience within the financial services sector. Desirable but not necessary:? Database skills: Oracle, MS SQL (preferred). Knowledge of Operating Systems: UNIX \ Linux. Experience with .Net, MQ, RegEx, PowerShell. Any exposure to applications such as Nagios, ELK, Automate, Salerio, FundManager, SWIFT / MoveIT ?is beneficial. Acknowledging, Recording and taking ownership of issues using Outlook Mailbox, ServiceNow or Jira system and following through to successful resolution ?
