Chef - Private School Peterborough Outskirts £12.09 p/hour - working either 40.77 weeks per year 40 hours per week Flexibility to work some evenings and every other weekend – only working the mayday bank holiday. Industrious Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced educational Chef to join a well know private school located on the outskirts of Peterborough. This is a large private boarding school with over 800 boarders and 200-day pupils. This school prides itself on its fresh, healthy innovate approach to school catering private events. Role Details: Previously/ holds Enhanced DBS with child barred list. Level 2 Food Hygiene minimum. Physical evidence of NVQ level 2 in Food Preparation or City Guilds. 40 hours per week, working to a 2-week rota with some evening work split shifts where needed. Alternate weekends off. Past experience working as a Chef in education with exposure to fresh volume catering. Reporting to the Head Chef, yet responsible for the General Catering Assistants within set area. Produce as many (already scheduled) recipes from fresh as possible. Able to not only cook volume but also on a smaller scale to a consistent standard. To work in compliance with the Health Safety Policy. High standard of presentation. Positive, enthusiastic attitude – be a part of the team.
