Overview

Where does this role fit in? Working in an Agile environment, utilising the latest in Angular, Entity Framework, and Restful APIs, you'll be a full-stack .NET Developer, building and working on enterprise-grade software systems, ensuring commitment and quality through to completion. You'll be using technologies such as Angular, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, C#, and Entity Framework to develop technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. You'll be designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software according to the functional requirements. You'll be analysing and resolving any errors on the web applications and the environments in which they run. This will involve work in the backend and front-end parts of the web applications. The application you'll be working on is predominantly going to be ITG's Media Centre, an industry leading marketing resource management programme, a modular system enabling ITG to create bespoke solutions for blue-chip retail, automotive, and hospitality clients to name a few. You've had experience working as a .NET Developer, with understanding and practical experience using ASP.NET MVC, including coding in C#. As a full-stack developer, you'll need to have an understanding, or experience with, HTML and CSS. You'll also know JavaScript and jQuery. You understand Object-Oriented Programming principles, including SOLID design principles. You'll know how to work with a variety of software development approaches and methodologies, specifically Agile. Our backend databases are built using Microsoft SQL Server, so experience creating tables, writing stored procedures and querying databases using T-SQL will be important.
