About the Role We are seeking an IT Application Specialist to join the business on an 18 Month Fixed Term Contract. Bentley have selected Salesforce as a technology platform to help to power our transformation programme across Sales & Marketing and Aftersales. We have worked closely with Salesforce to shape the first phase of the programme and are now looking for a temporary IT Application Specialist (Salesforce Administrator) to help to drive us forward with the technology solution. Key Responsibilities include: Working as part of the implementation team to help ensure a successful rollout of the Salesforce platforms. Customise and maintain Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud applications. Ensure that the organisation is maximising its use of Salesforce through process automations Complete regular internal system audits, including weekly runs of deduplication tools. Create and maintain archive for history tables, in compliance with data retention policies (this includes documenting all error reports and field history changes). Prepare and run tests and reports that highlights the health of the platform (specifically APEX tests, field utilisation reports, roles by profile reports, etc. Designing and documenting processes and liaising with development and support teams within Bentley IT to ensure smooth transition to BAU state. Assist with activities to educate others with regard to the use of relevant tools Located primarily with the project team in Middlewich, with some time also being spent in Crewe. About the Person The successful candidate will have held a Salesforce Administrator role. You will have good experience of Salesforce Platform administration, ideally in an automotive environment. You need to have practical experience of Agile/Scrum methodologies. You will be able to demonstrate experience of building strong collaborative and influential relationships with a broad range of stakeholders. You will have excellent organisational skills and a high attention to detail. You need to be able to demonstrate the ability to solve complex business problems and deliver creative solutions. You will be able to demonstrate examples of working at pace to deliver results in a time sensitive fashion. You will need to demonstrate a pragmatic and flexible approach to the role.
