Senior Civil Engineer
Overview
Senior Civil Engineer - Permanent - Redditch Your new company One of the UK's largest multifaceted consultancies, delivering property and infrastructure projects on a local, national and international scale. They have 20 offices in the UK offering a vast range of professional and technical expertise across an unrivalled number of services. Your new role You will provide technical leadership into assigned projects and be expected to guide/mentor the design team to achieve its deliverables. You will Lead and assist with the preparation of documentation relating to projects and engaging with and developing good working relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including Network Rail / local authorities / Tier 1 contractor's clients and other disciplines. You will act as Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE) - Design, Help to develop the production of drawings, reports and specifications as well as Input to and preparation of bids and proposals You will also provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team. What you'll need to succeed The Successful candidate will have a Engineering degree in a relevant discipline and be a Chartered member of the institute of Civil Engineers or equivalent. Have experience working in the UK rail industry with good working knowledge of Network Rail Grip process/Standards and approval processes and acted as CRE(Design) for Rail Engineering Projects.
