Building the present, creating the future Description BAM Nuttall are part of the JV with Mott MacDonald recently awarded the 2nd Phase of Leeds Flood Alleviation Scheme, after successful completion of the 1st Phase. The scheme consists of a number of separate interventions to provide permanent flood defence solutions along a 7.5km stretch of the River Aire in Leeds. The Contract is ECC Option C, commenced in June 2019 and is due to complete in October 2022. Site offices will be located near Kirkstall Road (A65) in Armley, Leeds. Your key activities will include: Reporting to Commercial Lead. Liaison with operations team. Supporting the Commercial Lead with the provision of the following: provide relevant data relating to monthly cost value reconciliations, cashflow monitoring, monthly and quarterly forecasts; monthly application for payment; change management. Manage / mentor junior members of commercial team as required. Ensure compliance and adherence with project and company commercial procedures for procurement and subcontract management. Procurement and commercial management of subcontracts. Job Requirements Your qualifications, skills and experience should include: Formal relevant qualification - Degree; HNC/D. Experience of NEC form of Contract. Previous experience on civil engineering scheme. Experience of target price contracts advantageous. Good cient facing collaborative attitude. Good communication skills. Good IT skills. What do we offer?
