Overview
Multi-Trade Operative required for ongoing work in Melksham and surrounding areas Your new company You will be working for a local maintenance company within the social housing sector who are looking for an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join their team in Melksham and the surrounding areas. Your new role Your role will be working as part of the Planned Works team to deliver new kitchen and bathroom upgrades within occupied properties. You will be expected to carry out any associated works such as plastering, decorating and tiling. What you'll need to succeed You will need to be qualified to NVQ level 2 or equivalent in a main trade such as carpentry, plumbing or a recognised building trade and ideally have previous experience working within social housing or maintenance. You will need a clean driving licence and the ability to drive a company van. You will also need to have good problem-solving skills and comfortable dealing with tenants. What you'll get in return This is a 3 month role and there may be opportunities to become a permanent employee within the company based on performance.
