Long term temporary Multi-skilled Joiner, based in Preston- 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday - Immediate Your new company Based in Preston, you will be working for a local and highly established social housing association. This is a non-for-profit business that has been created to meet the needs of the local people. This organisation takes pride in helping to create a friendly community within the local areas and own over 5000 houses. They are now looking to take on a long term Multi-skilled Joiner with the view to turn permanent Your new role Within your new role, you will be working on both tenanted and void properties within the Blackpool and Preston areas, carrying out joinery at a high standard throughout. This will include however, not limited to 1st, 2nd and final fixes, ensuring that all work is carried out and meets statutory requirements, expectations for the customers and procedures. Within the multi-skilled Joinery role, you will be carrying out other trade work and you do require to have basic skills in plumbing, plastering, tiling etc. The work within the properties will be both responsive and planned repair works. What you'll need to succeed To be successful for this role, you will be required to have all NVQ Joinery qualifications and hold a valid CSCS card. You will be able to provide evidence of your experience with an up to date CV and 2 ex-employer references details which I will obtain. Due to the nature of this role, the organisation will process a DBS/security clearance that will need to be cleared prior to start date. What you'll get in return This role is a long term temporary vacancy with the potential to turn permanent. You will be paid £17.49 per hour which will be paid to you every Friday by submitting your time sheet online. You will be working 37 hours per week, 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch.
