Overview
Various contract Quantity Surveyor positions | £300-£450/day (experience dependant) Your new company You will be working for a large Private Sector, independent construction and property consultancy who work across all sectors of the built environment and have been established for over 100 years. They are well known and market leaders within their market. They are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor's at various levels on a freelance basis working from their office in Central London. Your new role You will be responsible for cost planning and site visits depending what project you are on. You will liaise directly with contractors, take a lead on commercial tenders, bids and proposals. You will take charge of cost planning, budgeting & estimating, preparation of tender documents & reporting on tenders, assembly of contract documentation and finally cost reporting and monitoring, all for the purpose of lending. What you'll need to succeed Degree qualified - preferably within a construction related discipline MRICS qualified Pre and post contract experience Experience on high value projects Experience working in a client focused environment with a personal commitment to the delivery of excellent client service What you'll get in return 6-month contract with possibility of extension.
