Fantastic opportunity to work for a world leading consultancy - Birmingham City Centre - Permanent Your new company Hays currently have the pleasure of recruiting on behalf of a world leading multi discipline practice for a Senior Structural Engineer on a permanent basis. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an Engineer that will play a key part in the expansion of the business within the West Midlands, South West and Wales. If you are an ambitious Senior Structural Engineer that feels ready to take a step up or an Associate/Principal Structural Engineer looking for a new challenge within a dynamic and growing team then this may be a great opportunity for you. Your new role As part of your new role as a Senior Structural Engineer you play a key part in working on a large variety of projects locally and nationally. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be Leading, managing and coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams to complete projects to meet client aspirations, you will also ensure the success of projects by working in cohesion with local and remote teams. As a Senior member of the organisation you will be enrolled into their national technical excellence programme where you will play an active role in providing leadership for technical delivery. Finally, as a Senior Structural Engineer you will assist in applying and growing our BIM capability including integrated design tools and data management systems, you will also have a clear understanding of health and safety management of design including application of CDM 2015. What you'll need to succeed As the successful Senior Structural Engineer, you would have obtained a degree in structural engineering or an equivalent qualification. You also will be a Chartered civil/structural engineer with the MICE or MIStructE. You will have previous experience of running teams and delivering projects to a high standard and be fully proficient in the use of structural analysis and design software. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be commercially aware including the ability to scrutinise contracts to negotiate preferential terms, finally you will also abide by Compliance and Quality Assurance procedures What you'll get in return In return you will be offered a highly competitive salary, great benefits and the opportunity to work on exciting projects on behalf of a world leading organisation.
