Overview
My Client, specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy which specialises in Flood Risk, Hydrology and Drainage, is searching for a Senior Hydrologist to join their established Hydrological Team based in Maidstone It is essential that applicants have a BSc and/or MSc and in a relevant discipline (e.g. River Basin Dynamics, Hydrology or Engineering) and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Environmental Impact Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans and ideally Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller or Hec-Ras. It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience completing drainage strategy, Flood Estimation, Rainfall Analysis or Hydrological Assessments. This exciting role will offer you the opportunity to join a bespoke team of Engineers based in Maidstone. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to complete and manage Flood Risk, Surface Water, Environmental, Drainage and Hydraulic Modelling Projects for Local Authorities and Private Sector Clients. As a Senior Hydrologist you will join a friendly team to mentor team members and complete Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Catchment Management Plans, Flood Estimation, Rainfall Analysis, Hydrological Assessments, Environmental Impact Assessments, Water Quality Monitoring, Drainage Strategy and Hydraulic Modelling using Hec-Ras and Flood Modeller. You will also have the opportunity to complete Drainage Strategies and Modelling using Microdrainage.
