Overview
The Team Our Mobile Journey Capture Service team is working on one of the most cutting-edge products in the company. We take software built from other core functionality teams in the company, such as the Document Expert System team, and optimize their performance on mobile devices. You will be responsible for the development of libraries and applications that utilize GBG core libraries on mobile to create world-class products. These products will assist customers in providing a smooth onboarding and ID authentication process. You will be working on products dedicated to helping customers using our technology on the latest mobile devices. The Role GBG vision is to be the globally recognized leader and pioneer in automated Identity technology, pushing the limits of science and technology to enable fast and secure on-boarding for our customers’ business models. On mobile platforms, we can make this technology accessible to a much larger and technologically advanced group of users. As an out-of-the-box creative tech mind, you will be building scalable mobile SDKs and apps including other activities that exist in software development lifecycle. What you will do… You will: Be part of a team of developers working together to deliver quality software at pace Support the development of GBG technology on mobile platforms Demonstrate excellent coding practices adhering to OOP principles Help with other operational tasks such as preparing and deploying systems and packages within the iOS ecosystem Implement and test work against agreed acceptance criteria Create user documentation and manuals for both users and developers Be a self-starter who is relied on to get the job done Adopt a professional approach and behavior when dealing with the business and user community Have excellent verbal and written communication skills Stay up to date with emerging innovations and technology trends To enable you to be successful, we are looking for… Skills: A mobile technology enthusiast with 2 years of proven experience in developing iOS Apps or SDKs Excellent knowledge of Objective-C or Swift programming languages Solid understanding of concurrency principles and RESTful APIs Comfortable with using command line tools, GIT and CI/CD processes Understanding of Apple’s best practices, design principles and interface guidelines Familiarity working within Agile practices Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle Additionally… The following would be beneficial: You have a good understanding of building modular frameworks Exposure to Android development and familiarity with either Kotlin or Java programming languages Exposure to C++ Behaviours Strong Determination High Attention to detail Curious Minded Passionate Well Organised Positive Attitude
