Overview
WAREHOUSE OPPORTUNITY IMMEDIATE START - URGENT Warehouse operative to join a national distribution centre, working in a modern warehouse in the Denby area. Ideal for a warehouse operative willing to learn. Ideally you will have experience in PPT and/or FLT driving or similar and have your own transport - due to the location of the client. Duties: Picking orders Transferring stock to its destination using a PPT truck (training can be provided on PPT) Using handheld scanners to identify which products are required for orders Assisting in the overall production and despatch of customers' orders (goods in/out) Achieving the targets and job standards The ideal warehouse operative will: Have PPT/FLT Experience Maintain high levels of Health and Safety standards Being adaptable and flexible in your approach to work Ideally previous warehouse experience within distribution or supply chain Excellent numeracy and literacy skills Ability to work under pressure, and to deadlines Ability to work as part of the team Good attention to detail Be physically fit (as you could be lifting up to 25kg) This role is working in a clean environment where hygiene is of primary interest. 2pm-10pm or 10pm-6am shifts available Rates £9.34 - £11.04 (PAY INCREASE AFTER 12 WEEKS)
