Warehouse Team Leader Alfreton, Derbyshire Shifts: Monday to Friday - Days (6am - 2:30pm) & Afters (2pm - 10:30pm) rotating weekly. Salary: £22,000 per annum 10% shift premium Fresh Start are recruiting on behalf of our reputable client based in Alfreton for a Warehouse Team Leader to join their team on a permanent basis. Duties and responsibilities include: To ensure the distribution centre is meeting targets and running efficiently. Coach, develop and manage staff through training and observations to increase versatility Taking responsibility of staff annual leave requests and absence management (up to and including investigations and disciplinary) Gather monthly records and carry out one to one reviews enabling a fair and consistent approach Keep all data updated and analyse reports to establish trends and improvement projects. Review stock storage methods and pick sequences to maximise warehouse utilisation. Utilise all resource to achieve and exceed all cost targets whilst maintaining maximum output Ensure all internal SLA’s are achieved regarding put away, despatch, cycle counting and accurate inventory investigating, RCA and resolution Helping to drive continuous improvement through the company Comply with company health and safety policy and ensure others are also adhering Work as part of a team within the distribution centre and wider business to achieve goals Participate in first-aid and fire warden activities as required Skills and experience: Team leading/ Supervisory experience Ability to lead and motivate a team Strong focus on Quality, Cost and Health and Safety Proven problem solver Knowledge of Lean techniques Must have fantastic communication and organisational skills Must be computer literate and have excellent Microsoft Office skills Experience of working with Warehouse ERP systems Understanding of efficient best practice product flow Must have a flexible approach Does the above sound like the opportunity you’ve been searching for?
