Overview
We have an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. Based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, you will join us on a full time, permanent basis, with a competitive salary depending on experience. Karmelle Ltd specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of liquid filling, capping and labelling machinery. With a 35-year track-record and market leading customers in the food and drink, pharmaceutical, chemical and cosmetics industries, we pride ourselves on the quality and longevity of our products. It’s why we make most of the components ourselves in our well-equipped workshop, and source the rest as locally as possible. About our Electrical Engineer role: This varied role will give you the chance to work on challenging, multi-sector projects from concept to completion. As our Electrical Engineer , you will assist with the building of bespoke liquid filling, capping & labelling machines. Working alongside a team of Mechanical Engineers, you will carry out projects independently, and assist with on-site installations. Duties and responsibilities as our Electrical Engineer: - Draw up project plans and circuit diagrams, using computer-assisted engineering and design software - Provide design, installation, commissioning and maintenance for machinery - Build and manufacture panels (panel wiring) - Test installations and systems - Ensure projects meet safety regulations - Oversee inspection and maintenance programmes Knowledge and experience required to become our Electrical Engineer: - Proficiency in use of PLCs advantageous - Control -PNP-NPN - Skills in servo drives and panel wiring beneficial - Previous work experience in the automated packaging environment advantageous, but not necessary If you feel that you are the right candidate and have the necessary skills and experience to join Karmelle Ltd as our Electrical Engineer, please click 'apply’ today - we’d love to hear from you Karmelle Ltd is an equal opportunities employer.
