Overview
Our client who is a leading provider of elevated access equipment for the UK construction industry and they have appointed Staffbase to recruit for the position of Electrical Maintenance Engineer. The Role: Reporting to the Service Manager you will be responsible for undertaking electrical and mechanical maintenance service and repair of specialist lift equipment. Duties will include but is not limited to the maintenance service and repair of the following; Electrical maintenance, fault find and repair 3 phase, 415v motors, interters Control panels Winches Rack & pinion motion equipment Gear boxes The role will be workshop based however there will be a requirement to attend occasional site breakdowns. Candidates: The successful candidate will be an experienced electrical engineer with good basic mechanical maintenance capabilities. Ideally you will have a good knowledge and understanding of electrical control panels, hoists, 3 phase electrics and control circuits. In addition you will; Ideally hold 17th Edition / 18th Edition electrical certification Read schematic drawings 415V electrical skills Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm Benefits: Competitive salary OT Company Vehicle 28 days annual leave
