Senior Management Accountant - 6month FTC Leading media organisation £50-£55k Exciting opportunity to work with a leading media organisation This is a great chance to be a part of a complex global media business, with multiple routes for progression and a high performing finance team. You can expect a classic media' culture, relaxed office environment (no suits here…) and a sociable team. This role will be taking ownership of the monthly reporting, working closely with senior stakeholders and really striving to improve processes across the business. Please be in touch if you can start immediately Responsibilities: oComplete balance sheet reconciliations and bank recs oCalculate and input accruals and prepayments oPrepare and input journals oAgreement of intercompany balances oFreelancer cost analysis and forecasting oAccrued Revenue analysis schedules oAssist the finance team with other month-end procedures, including variance analysis, as needed • Analyse and develop processes to help the department run more efficiently • Ownership of revenue recognition. • Analytical review on various reports Requirements: • Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA, will also consider a really strong finalist) • Strong academic profile • High attention to detail • Strong excel skills
