JOB TITLE: Accounts Payable Administrator We currently have some unique & exciting opportunities within Southampton University Hospitals which will allow the successful candidates to gain regular shifts & valuable experience within a variety of unique environments. These are fantastic opportunities for talented individuals who share the trusts vision be on the leading edge of healthcare for the benefit of their patients. Locations covered: Southampton Pay rates £18,813 - £21,819pa pro rata depending on experience 37.5hrs pw Mon-Fri. Temp role - Ongoing Job Responsibilities: Take responsibility for ensuring that invoices are appropriately actioned. Proactively solve any outstanding holds on purchase orders and related invoices. Liaise with clear and concise verbal communication with the appropriate department/supplier by email and telephone to resolve any issues causing non-payment. Obtain supplier account statements and take necessary action to reconcile to Oracle. Respond to complex queries from staff, customers and suppliers where there may be issues about non-payment, incorrect or late payments. Ability to effectively cope with variety of ongoing tasks/issues at the same time and work well in problem solving. This post will suit someone who has experience of interrogating systems to investigate specific issues/ transactions. The most important qualities are a can-do attitude, a willingness to roll their sleeves up and good communication skills.
