Overview
Qualified Accounts Manager ACA ACCA accountancy practice, Southampton, to £50,000 This is an exciting role for a business minded candidate with a good all round skill set who enjoys dealing with clients and management of their affairs. This will include staff training review and development. You will be working for a growing Southampton firm of accountants that has an interesting client base and there are good long term career prospects for someone with good practice development, management and leadership skills. You will be managing a team of 3-4 full time staff, liaising with the tax department and partners. This is a great opportunity for someone who is entrepreneurial, technically excellent, interested in practice development, a team player and is looking for a challenge to join a firm with good long term partnership prospects. You will come from a practice background with good review skills and good working tax knowledge of both personal and corporate taxation. It would be an advantage if you have audit experience but this is not a necessary pre-requisite for this role. You must have staff supervision, work review and management experience. You should be keen to be involved in practice development work including identifying opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients. In addition you must have good staff management skills and be able to efficiently run a well establish work system.
