Overview
Fast-growing, hugely successful tech scale-up. International leader looking to double in size quickly. Opportunity to work in an exceptional multidisciplinary team. One of Europe’s most exciting companies developing software for self-driving vehicles is currently looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer. You will be a vital member of their research team to develop tools to launch, run and monitor their autonomous driving stack. They have a team of world-class engineers and scientists with renowned academic advisors who are at the very cutting edge in research and the application of said research in one of the world’s most exciting autonomous vehicle projects. You will take an active role in working closely with these research and engineering teams. They have raised £tens of millions in funding and off the back of a successful product launch last year they are looking to expand the team further with world-class talent. What you’ll be doing You’ll be joining an exciting team working at the bleeding edge of technology helping develop models and algorithms to develop autonomous vehicles. Working across the full lifecycle you’ll be building workflows that allow the delivery of models and helping to continuously improve the infrastructure. Primarily working with image and video datasets you’ll be at the forefront of developing algorithms and models that will play a major part in this company’s simulation pipeline. This a diverse role that will allow you to gain experience working with a range of tools and technologies. What experience you’ll need to apply • An MSc or PhD degree in a technology related field (e.g. Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI etc.) • Statistical programming experience using Python, C++ or Scala. • Experience working with large datatsets of videos and images would be ideal. • Proven experience of using machine learning methods ideally with Computer Vision. • Communication skills are key in this one as you’ll be interacting with people across the business as well as stakeholders outside of it.
