Overview
Financial Accountant - Up to £35,000 per annum Benefits My client, a large organisation based in North Leicestershire, is currently looking to recruit a Financial Accountant due to expansion. This role reports directly to the head of finance and works closely with a number of different senior stakeholders. In the role, you will be responsible for: Review balance sheet reconciliations, highlighting any potential risks to the business. Support in the completion of VAT returns, tax returns and monthly reporting. Monthly reconciliation of payroll and tax balance sheet accounts. Support the head of finance during month end and audits (internal & external) Support in treasury activities including cash forecasting and regulatory payments. Complete cash forecasts for the group treasury team. Analysing and highlighting risks in cash position. Preparation of PAYE and NI submissions. You will be: Qualified AAT/ACCA or currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification. Pro active, hands on & self sufficient.
