Overview

Are you a Senior Support Worker with a L3 Qualification looking for a new challenge, a step up to becoming a Team Leader? Would you like to work in a brand new service? If so, the below role would appeal to you ENS Recruitment is supporting a charity organisation with the recruitment for a Team Leader to work in Wandsworth to support three adults with learning difficulties and manage a team of support staff and provide quality care. This is to work in a brand new service that will provide 42/h support to adults with sensory needs and Autism. Our client supports over 1000 people in various settings such as elderly homes, extra care schemes, supported living units, day centres and in the community. What are the duties of the Senior/Team Leader? Manage day to day activities Staff management, accurate record keeping To ensure that accurate staffing levels are maintained Assist with recruitment and induction of new staff Assist with the preparation of rotas Assist with supervision and appraisals and making sure records of these are up to date Be the mentor and role model for support staff Ensure care plans are up to date Work 38 hours per week on a rota basis What are the requirements? NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care (preferable; my client is able to look at applicants with a L2 but previous Team Leading or Senior Support Work experience) Previous experience as Team Leader/Senior Support Worker Minimum 2 years’ experience in supporting adults with learning difficulties Flexibility to work shifts Having an interest in classical music or playing any musical instrument would serve as an advantage What are the benefits?
