Overview
Our client is a pioneer in the financial/technology space with a truly global presence and a household name reputation. There is now a need to hire a senior lawyer to join their legal team in central London focusing on general commercial contracts and advisory. Duties will include: Drafting, negotiating and advising around a broad range of commercial contracts including supplier agreements, product development and licensing agreements. Providing advice around intellectual property, mobile payments and products. Advising around data protection and related regulatory issues. Liaising with external counsel. The successful candidate will: Be a UK qualified lawyer. Have at least 5 years of post-qualification experience. Have trained at a leading law firm or well-regarded in-house legal team. Have extensive experience with intellectual property and technology contracts Be experienced working within a regulatory environment (exposure to payments would be appreciated). Be adept at advising senior stakeholders and providing internal training to relevant departments.
