Overview
Management Accountant We are looking for a skilled management accountant, from either industry account OR practice accounts to join our client’s organisation to support the transfer of data from one system into a new system. You will be required to have a strong understanding of management accounts to perform well int this role as you will not only be transferring data, but you will also be working on checking the data and identification of anomalies. Start: ASAP Location: Soham, Cambridgeshire Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday Salary : £16.00 - £17.00 per hour holiday pay Duration: 3 months You will be working in your own office allowing the social distancing measures to be in place. You will be on site with two other full-time employees who also have their own offices so there will be no need for any form of physical or social contact. As you will be working alone supported by a manager who is home working you must be responsible and able to manage your own time. A driving licence is essential for this role due to the rural location. Duties: Transferring financial data from one system to a new system Checking the data for any anomalies according to published management accounts Coding the system where necessary Identification of system failures and return problems to source to be rectified General use and testing of the Excel based system for user errors Reviewing financial information again published figures for accuracy Skills and Experience: Part OR Fully qualified with either CIMA or ACCA qualifications would be desirable If you are QBE (qualified by experience) we will also consider this if you have extensive experience Strong planning and organisational skills Strong Analytical and numerical skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages - particularly Excel (to pivot table level) You MUST have a driving licence to work in this position due to the location If you have not received a response within 3-5 working days, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
