Overview
Belmont Recruitment are working closely with a well-established nursing home based in the Toxteth area of Liverpool, they are looking for a Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) for a full-time role but are willing to accept part time hours as well. The role is based within a small, “GOOD" rated nursing home that cares for old age, physical disability & dementia, you’ll need prior experience with Dementia for this particular role. Reporting to the Care Manager, the Staff Nurse will ensure the promotion of high standards of nursing care. The role will be based within an excellent home that caters for old age, dementia and physical disability. The home is part of a wider group which has a number of homes across the North West, they can offer an excellent on-going training & support package. Salary: £17.00 Per Hour (Days) Hours: 36,42- or 48-hour contract available Main Tasks of the job: To ensure, promote and maintain a high standard of care for all service users. To be aware of service user’s needs; physically, emotionally and socially. To ensure prescribed medications and treatments are given correctly in accordance with NICE guidelines and the home’s policies and procedures regarding the administration of medication. Maintain correct custody and control of controlled drugs. To liaise appropriately with all visiting medical personnel, professionals and community organisations. To give and receive reports on the care of service users at each change of staff duty, ensuring a full and thorough handover. To ensure all written records relating to the care of residents and otherwise are accurate, up to date and completed legibly. Essential requirements: Be a qualified Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) Have a valid NMC pin number Be committed and dedicated to the role. Have experience within a Care Home or similar environment Satisfactory Disclosure completion upon successful application Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Right to work in the UK Prior experience as a Staff Nurse within a nursing home is desirable but not essential If interested, please apply or alternatively if you do know of anyone that may be interested then do let us know.
