Grounds Maintenance Role based in HMP Cardiff, ongoing temporary, opportunity to go permanent Your new company Your new role would be working at HMP Cardiff based in the city centre, a category B all male prison. Working in the maintenance team in a unique environment. Your new role You'll be helping with general Gardening tasks including mowing, strimming, hedging and tidying. You will also be expected to work alongside the prisoners who will be helping maintain the site, therefore, you must be very security conscious. The site is currently kept to a very high standard and they are looking for someone to continue the good work. What you'll need to succeed As a Gardener or Grounds Maintenance Operative, you'll have to have worked in this kind of job before. You'll have experience of strimming, hedging, tidying of off cuts etc and ensuring a high standard is maintained at all times. They are looking for someone who is passionate about gardening. What you'll get in return In return for your hard work you will be working on an ongoing temporary contract with the likely hood of it going Permanent.
