Overview

We are delighted to invite applicants to apply for rarely available opportunities for Process Operatives at Kemsley Mill. We have a number of vacancies based across our paper machines and winders. The roles are shift based, with a 12 hour, 4 on 4 off shift pattern alternating days and nights, with a generous amount of time off. We offer an extremely competitive package for the right candidate. We are only accepting applicatons from candidates who have GCSE English and Maths as a minimum. Ideally the candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: A 'can do’ attitude, energy, enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Ability to deliver high standards and contribute to a continuous improvement culture Able to work as part of a team or on own initiative. Possess good communication skills and excellent attention to detail. A good understanding of Health & Safety and environmental issues associated in the workplace. GCSE in Maths and Englsih Knowledge gained in our industry or a manufacturing environment would be a distinct advantage, although training will be given to the right candidate. In all these roles, the applicant is expected to ensure the efficient running of the machinery, to produce product that conforms with the customer defined quality specifications and at the desired rate and that these tasks are carried out in a safe manner. Candidates possessing the right attributes will have access to a number of developmental opportunities and career progression associated with working with a large global company. Jobs at Kemsley paper Mill rarely become available, and shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a half day assessment centre which will include a full site tour.
