Overview
Trainee Regional Manager jobs do not exist. Or do they? Ask yourself this. Has your home management experience involved several Care Inspectorate inspections? Local authority inspections? Troubleshooting of some kind? Maybe a bit of commissioning? Have you secured 5’s or 6’s in Scotland? Or maybe you've been in England and have achieved good overall or maybe even an Outstanding? How well have you come to know and understand marketing? Did you know anything about these things before? What about the figures? Staffing ratio’s? Budgets, profit and loss, maybe even EBITDAR? Clinical audits? Safeguarding etc. We didn’t start out with knowledge of any of that, did we? So actually, maybe they do exist, maybe it is just that they aren’t all gift wrapped for us. If this makes sense to you, then you are probably the sort of go-getting person I want to talk to Ideally you will have applied your management and leadership skills successfully in a couple of different places over the years, but not too many.
