Flexible full time and part time hours are available, including a choice of day, night or weekend shifts. Successful Care Assistants will earn £8.21 to £9.01 per hour dependant on experience, with generous enhancements available for additional shifts. Wyndley Grange Nursing Home is located in a beautiful lakeside setting, on the edge of Sutton Park Nature Reserve, and offers excellent transport links by bus and train. The Role: You will consistently deliver a high standard of person centred care to all our residents, working under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Continually ensure all residents are treated with compassion, kindness, dignity and respect. Fully support or assist residents to maintain all activities of daily living, and ensure that their personal care, physical and emotional needs are met. Support all residents to maintain and enjoy an active and independent lifestyle as possible, taking into consideration their individual needs and personal choices. Act as a role model to less experienced Care Assistants, providing support and direction, and ensure all tasks are delivered to a high standard. Ensure all residents, relatives and visitors are addressed in a professional and caring manner at all times. Skills and Experience: NVQ Level 2 / 3 in Health and Social Care A minimum of 6 months experience in a care environment, preferably within an older person setting. Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise care and work under your own initiative and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. A caring and compassionate disposition.
