Overview

The role of an Accounts Receivable Billing & Credit Control Team Member involves: Building relationships with the Finance and Payments Teams at each of our Local Authorities. Working closely with and building relationships with the Care Home Administrators. Running and producing weekly billing cycles for all homes in line with our company billing schedules. Chasing outstanding invoices with clients and Local Authorities. Preparing Statement of Accounts’ to be issued to residents’ next of kin. Reconciling customer accounts to identify miss-posting of cash. Actioning any fee changes advised by Local Authorities. Actioning any new admission and discharges to each Care Home. Liaising with each of our Local Authorities to confirm funding levels for residents and obtaining correct fee charges. Completing manual fee calculations to ensure all bills have been accurately recorded. Completing the aged debtor reports issued monthly. The role also requires you to: Undergo Disclosure Scotland/PVG checks as part of the recruitment process. Essential candidate criteria: Experience in billing activities. Experience in account reconciliation and accounts receivable activities. Minimum 2 years experience in credit control. Experience of working with an accounting system. Excellent query resolution skills. Ability to work to strict deadlines. Excellent communication skills. Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers.
