Mechanical Fitter Leicestershire 6 Month Minimum Contract (Outside IR35) - Permanent jobs also available up to £18p/h Ltd Company (DOE) Building Machinery from the Ground up - Installation of Components / Mechanisms / Assemblies Working from Engineering Drawings and work Instructions. SF Engineering is currently recruiting for skilled Mechanical Fitters for a well-established manufacturer of automated special purpose machinery are growing 20% year on year and are on for a record year this year. They supply automated machinery used in a variety of industries from food to automotive and are market leaders in their sector. As a result, we are looking to add a skilled mechanical fitter to the shop floor to continue their growth and build bespoke machines from the ground up. What the Role will Involve: - Working from engineering drawings and work instructions you will be working as part of a team building automated special purpose machinery from the ground up. - Installing components in bare frames, including pneumatic systems, valves, compressors, bearings, sub-assemblies and assemblies. - Building sub-assemblies and then installing into the main machine. - Getting involved with the test of the machines. What we are Looking for in the Candidate: - Special purpose machinery mechanical assembly experience. - Experience of building assemblies and sub-assemblies. - Time served or apprenticed trained. - Happy to work as part of a team or autonomously.
