Overview
Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a well-established, growing business in Southampton. The client is looking for a Payroll Supervisor for 3 months. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for: ·Processing a large payroll for 800 employees ·Processing expenses and timesheets ·Close month end and year end payrolls ·Preparing statutory returns, ensuring third-party payments are paid on a timely basis, monitoring sickness and calculating sick pay, SSP and unpaid sickness. ·Administration of the NEST pension scheme, including the setting up process to meet auto-enrolment deadlines. ·Produce P11d’s and ensure payment is made on time. ·Correspond and communicate with HMRC in all aspects of payroll including RTI. ·Reconciliation of PAYE and NI payments and ensure that payment is reached to HMRC on time. ·Dealing with payroll queries and assisting auditors with compliance checks and audits. ·Post payroll summaries into Sage Accounts and reconcile all payroll balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis. ·Supervising a team of three people ·Adhoc duties The ideal candidate will be someone with a can-do attitude who has worked in a payroll role before, dealing with multiple payrolls and being able to supervise a small team.
