Azure Infrastructure Engineer - Azure Migration A market leading brand who have won a number of awards for their outstanding performance within their industry on the hunt for a talented Infrastructure Engineer with some Azure cloud experience. The successful candidate will work in a small but growing team where new technology is embraced, and where the latest practices are adopted. A large bulk of the work will involve an enterprise level, business critical system migration into Azure Cloud. Additionally, an infrastructure engineer you will monitor the servers and data network, responding to any alerts. You will manage backups and recovery, performing regular scheduled tests and monitor resource usage and plan for any future capacity needs. Infrastructure Engineer Key Responsibilities Supporting the business in fault resolutions and user issues for all server based and network infrastructure technology Proactively monitor the infrastructure and networks to ensure maximum availability and to react quickly to issues Planning and implementing system changes on live platforms without unexpected service impacts Role Requirements Experience managing Windows Servers (2012R2, Azure) Scripting knowledge - Powershell, BASH PC networks, desktop, thin client hardware Experience of Networking, LAN/WAN, IP schema and associated aspects. Any experience of an O365 (Office 365) migration and/or Virtualisation (VMWare or Hyper-V) would be highly beneficial.
