Overview
Job Summary: My client is looking for someone to lead the management of the Cyber/ Professional Indemnity product line performance and the underwriting policy. You will be expected to work with the market and colleagues in Performance Management to understand all underwriting risks in Cyber & Professional Indemnity. You will also work with stakeholders internally and externally to take action to ensure the active portfolio management of product line performance against Syndicate Business Plans and Forecasts. Duties & Responsibilities: You will act as the leader of the cyber/ PI product line underwriting policy for the market You will analyse the product line performance at overall market and syndicate level that drives clear and consistent insight and information that influences and contributes to Syndicate Business plan approval and portfolio management actions Actively seek to share knowledge and raise Underwriting standards for thee group of product lines by ensuring that adequate and appropriate market insight is provided to internally and externally to improve performance. Delivering key performance issues and insights in a concise and compelling way for monthly, quarterly performance and planning reviews and make clear recommendations Experience, Background and Qualifications: Someone who has strong relationships with Cyber/ PI class and lead underwriters Someone who is highly knowledgeable in the Cyber/ PI Class Someone who has experience handling multiple territories would be helpful You will need understanding of reserving and portfolio management You will also be comfortable dealing with pricing, capital, planning and finance
