Overview

Fantastic opportunity working for a fast growing, private equity backed business within the property sector, based in London. In 2019 they went through their biggest investment yet and they now have their eye on international development. With these big prospects for growth comes expansion within the finance team. We have in fact recruited for over 10 different vacancy over the last year. This role in particular is a qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Senior Management Accountant position, however as well as taking full ownership of the sets of management accounts for a portfolio of properties, you will also be able to get involved in other areas of the finance function. This a great chance to develop and grow in a prosperous business. Duties will include but are not limited to: Be responsible for a portfolio of the group’s buildings and act as the business partner for those properties Visit the buildings in your portfolio regularly to conduct meetings with the Building Managers and discuss budgets, review financial performance, and forecast future events Complete month end accurately, including full P&L and balance sheets for the properties in your portfolio Understand and provide variance analysis and commentary against historical performance and budget Maintain and reconcile balance sheet items including the fixed asset register Maintain and distribute the management information pack to the Building Managers and Department Heads Prepare board materials for distribution to board members Business partnering with relevant heads of departments to provide historical cost analysis Review the work of the AR/AP teams, ensuring correct posting of all purchase invoices relating to the portfolio of buildings, and monitor the debtors and creditors ledgers to ensure they are up to date Review existing processes and procedures and identify opportunities for improvements, and implement them Preparation of annual audit packs and assistance with auditor queries Year-end US group reporting The successful candidate will be: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Experience working in a similar role
