Overview
Altum Consulting are pleased to be working with an international television business to secure a Senior Management Accountant for their UK and Netherlands businesses. This role will be ideally suited to a strong finalist or recently qualified accountant who is keen to further their career in the media sector in an international environment. Role responsibilities will include: Preparing monthly management accounts for a number of entities, in line with group accounting policies Preparing group consolidation journals and intercompany eliminations Presenting the monthly number to the international financial reporting team Management of Statutory Accounts preparation, collaborating with auditors and accounts preparation providers Budget and forecast review and preparation and submission of Central Costs budget and forecast Collaborating on intercompany recharges, and ensuring management accounts are in line with intercompany guidelines Balance sheet accounts reconciliations Ad-hoc tasks across FP&A, regulatory reporting and legal reporting Suitable candidates will match the following: Finalist or newly qualified accountant Experience of statutory and management accounts Strong Excel skills Knowledge of HFM would be beneficial
