Overview
Large Charity organisation is looking to recruit a Pensions Administrator to work in their large corporate finance team. Main Purpose: Reporting to the Payment Services Manager, you will be providing an end to end process for pension auto-enrolment, from assessing against qualifying criteria through to timely payments. To conduct administrative duties relating to the pension of our clients. Responsibilities of Job: Support direct payment holders, in their role as employers, to set up and manage their pension responsibilities for their PAs/ carers. Ensure the timely processing of enrolment, setting up the pension, declaration of compliance, writing to employees and making payments on time. Provide advice, support and guidance for those employers who manage their own accounts Deal swiftly with any issues from the Pension Regulator and NEST Work with payroll processors to ensure pension setup and processing is accurately recorded and processed Manage information records to create timely triggers for payment, re-enrolment, and all aspects of pension processing. Provide an end to end pension service to Purple clients. Checking and assessing Personal Assistants (PA’s) / employees / carers for their eligibility to be auto enrolled or not. Ensuring that the weekly and 4 weekly pension contributions are uploaded to the NEST site accurately and on time. Work collaboratively with the payroll processors to ensure pension setup and processing is accurately recorded and processed. Person Specification: Essential Previous experience working in a pension administrative role and a good knowledge of DC pension administration. Previous experience of working with NEST, the TPR and Sage (or similar). Experience with Auto Enrolment Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word and Outlook. Able to quickly understand a problem and find solutions. Organised and logical thinker. Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with our customers. Team player but must be able to work independently and use own initiative. Able to work to a high level of accuracy. Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Great customer skills and quality focused approach to work. Benefits include: 25 days holiday plus the 8 bank holidays as standard. Employer pension contribution is 3%.
